So Much to Be Thankful For

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the generosity of our donors. The McLane Family has made a gracious five-year commitment of support, and we received a lovely donation from the Frank & Sue Mayborn Foundation. Those donations have been honored with boulders beneath our donor tree.

We have several new leaves on the donor tree because caring people and organizations have come forward to help fund the mission of Amy’s house.

We give special thanks for the kindness of our local American Legion Post 133 & its Auxiliary who have not only made significant donations but also have helped us create an emergency fund to be used for transplants patients in dire need.

I am the Treasurer of TRIO Central Texas Chapter a 501 (c) 3 which owns and operates Amy’s House in Temple, Texas.  I am the mother of Amy Henderson Firth, a multiple organ and tissue donor after her untimely and unexpected death in 2012.
